yume nikki is one of the pieces of art that have influenced me the most. i hope you've played it; i'll be talking about whatever in-depth or out-depth stuff about it that comes to my mind on here, and also more random things i make.

reconstructions of unused images

earlier versions of the game have a wider view version of the FACE image in them, though with less detail. i was able to make this higher quality by flipping one half, interlacing it into the other half, then flipping that into the other half to make a full image. i added the final FACE to the middle because it has even better quality. each version of the image has a different kind of filter applied, so it's a bit messed up where i tried to make the two images match each other better.

i used the same flipping and interlacing method on the thumbnail for the removed 髪の毛 "head of hair" panorama image (actually 髪の毛２, but it's just a brighter version of the first one). with this image, the colours of the faces and clothes on each side are different, so the flipping and interlacing method doesnt work as well on them.
